The official Dear Passengers release date is currently a 2026 window. Steam explicitly says the game is not yet available. Any page showing a specific date is ahead of the official announcement unless it links to a newer statement from FLEXUS.
WHAT IS ACTUALLY CONFIRMED?
The source of record is the official Steam listing. It identifies FLEXUS as both developer and publisher, names Windows PC as the current platform, and lists single-player plus online co-op.
Steam currently has no review score because the game has not launched. It also has no price, preorder package, or Early Access label. A user-added Steam tag is not an official announcement about price or business model.
THE VERIFIED RELEASE TIMELINE
Dear Passengers moved from reveal to a major wishlist hit in less than a week. Those milestones show interest in the future release; they do not mean the game was sold or playable.
TRAILER AND STEAM PAGE REVEALED
FLEXUS published the official trailer and opened Steam wishlisting with a broad 2026 release window. The calendar date varies by time zone around the reveal.
700,000 WISHLISTS IN 36 HOURS
FLEXUS reported its first major Steam wishlist milestone in an official news post.
ONE MILLION AND STEAM TOP 25
The studio said the game entered Steam's top 25 most-wishlisted titles within two days.
1.5 MILLION WISHLISTS
The latest official milestone still described active development, not a release.
DEMO PLANNED, PUBLIC DOWNLOAD NOT LIVE
A demo plan now exists, but there is still nothing for the public to download. FLEXUS founder Semen Kozyura told dev.ua that the team is preparing a demo for Gamescom and will release a public demo “a little later.”
That statement does not supply a Steam availability date, registration method, build length, or player limit. A Gamescom booth build is also not the same thing as a public Steam download.
As of July 24, Steam has no Download Demo button or Playtest request panel for App ID 4534960.
WHAT FLEXUS HAS NOT ANNOUNCED
- An exact launch day, month, or quarter inside 2026
- The launch price, preorder timing, or whether the game will use Early Access
- The public demo date and distribution method
- The maximum online co-op player count
- PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Mac, or Linux versions
- Cross-play, local co-op, split-screen, VR, or Steam Deck support
Silence on a feature does not prove it has been rejected. It only means the official release manifest is still incomplete.
